The provision of feedback from colleagues is considered to be one of the most powerful ways to support you to continually improve your practice. The purpose of this Peer Observation is to document feedback from a Peer Observer on your performance whilst you conduct aspects of your role as a Supervisor. For example this could be whilst conducting a progress review, providing feedback to a trainee, coaching and mentoring or delivering a training session.
The Peer Observation should be conducted by a colleague you work closely with. The Peer Observation form provided has been designed to allow you to structure a Peer Observation and enable your observer to provide quality feedback whilst encouraging you to be reflective about the chosen activity, your performance and impact on your trainees.
