Coronavirus Guidelines

The Global spread of novel coronavirus (Covid-19) has resulted in much uncertainty as well as concern about attending training events and conferences. We at ProPharmace are continuing to follow the latest advice from the UK government, Public Health England, and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. This is an evolving situation and this page will be updated with our latest guidance. We would like to reassure you that the health, safety, and well-being of our attendees and staff are our highest priority.

As we run a high volume of training events, those that continue are following new guidelines for strict hygiene controls and we have considered the risks associated with the spread of Coronavirus. However, as these are challenging and unsettling times we are ready to make further changes as the situation develops to ensure we can deliver our events virtually with minimal disruption to our community of learners.

We understand that many of you are anxious and are concerned about your own health as well as that of your families. We will be making decisions and taking measures to ensure that our learners are able to continue their learning journey whilst feeling supported and we require your co-operation to do so.

Guidance on attending ProPharmace Training Events:

In line with Public Health England guidance, if you have been in contact with someone with coronavirus or have returned from an affected area as high risk and you are feeling unwell with a cough, difficulty breathing or fever, please do not attend training events and stay at home. Use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service or call NHS 111.

If you have symptoms of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), however mild, please do not attend training events and stay at home for 7 days from when your symptoms started. You do not need to call NHS 111 to go into self-isolation. If your symptoms worsen during home isolation or are no better after 7 days contact NHS 111 online. For a medical emergency dial 999.

Attendees who show signs of cough or severe illness during training days will be advised to go home.

Where possible we will offer alternative training dates and online options for continuing your learning.

Please follow our Coronavirus Training Event Guidelines during ProPharmace events.

Please be reassured that all the venues that we use for our training events have introduced policies to ensure strict hygiene measures are maintained.
