ProPharmace Foundation Training Terms & Conditions

The following constitutes the terms and conditions which trainees must adhere to during ProPharmace Training Events.

The ProPharmace VLE

The ProPharmace VLE contains all materials required for the Core Programme. Access to the ProPharmace VLE is for your individual use. Sharing of passwords and account details is not permitted. ProPharmace reserves the right to terminate an account which violates these terms.

Events

The Foundation Core Programme consists of a mixture of live online, face to face and on demand events. It is expected that you attend all events or notify us of intended absence.

Online events will take place via Zoom unless otherwise instructed. Ensure you have downloaded Zoom and have created an account. Online events are akin to face to face events and you are expected to be present and in a suitable location from which you can learn, participate and take notes during the sessions. Joining the events whilst driving or undertaking another activity is inappropriate.

As Core Programme training days are interactive workshops, trainees will be required to:

• switch their camera on at all times.
• use the ‘raise hand’ tool before asking a question and wait until prompted to unmute yourself.
• dress appropriately and have an appropriate background during online sessions

Professionalism

Trainees are expected to adhere to the GPhC standards for pharmacy professionals and maintain professionalism. ProPharmace reserves the right to remove any delegate from a training course whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate.

Liability

ProPharmace does not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of information in, or views expressed on, its training courses including course materials. Opinions expressed are those of individual trainers.

Punctuality

Latecomers will not be admitted to the training venue unless there is a suitable break or interval. Supervisors will be notified of non-attendance. In such cases, trainees will be unable to attend an alternative training day.

Recordings & Photography

ProPharmace reserves the right to record training events which may be used for feedback and improvements in training. ProPharmace reserves the right to determine if recordings should be shared (either internally or externally) following training.

ProPharmace reserves the right to use recordings and photography for promotional purposes.

Technology

ProPharmace does not warrant that the provision of any online content will always be available or be uninterrupted. Trainees are advised to access the VLE and online training days from a suitable location using either a laptop or desktop computer.

Joining Instructions will be available via the VLE prior to the event.

Whilst we make every effort to keep changes to the site to a minimum, we reserve the right to make amendments to the VLE to enhance the learning experience.

Personal data

The personal data you provide when you book the training course will be held in accordance with GDPR and used by ProPharmace for the purpose of delivering your training programme. Designated supervisors who have enrolled trainees on to the programme will be updated about trainee performance and attendance.

Transferring training places

All training events are non-transferable.

Changes to programme dates by ProPharmace

ProPharmace reserves the right to alter a training day up to and including the day of the training course in extreme circumstances. Any changes to training dates will be updated on your VLE calendar.

Ownership and intellectual property rights

All learning materials, whether on the study or on the training day(s), are owned by ProPharmace Ltd. No content may be copied, reproduced, in whole or in part, without ProPharmace’s prior permission. Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of ProPharmace’s intellectual property rights.

Violations

If you are found in violation of the Terms & Conditions, you may be subject to one or more of the following actions:

• Removal from online sessions or classes;
• Termination of your use of the ProPharmace VLE;
• Referral to GPhC fitness to practice committee.
• Additional actions may be taken at the sole discretion of ProPharmace Ltd.
